Ivanitskiy house
Ivanitskiy house is the well-preserved three-story building in the Northern part of the Republic of Khakassia in the lost village called Chebaki. This house stands in stark difference to with the entire neighborhood. It is the mansion of successful gold mining Z. M. Cybulski, that was built in the second half of the 19th century. In 1883, the gold mines and the manor were inherited by his nephew, Konstantin Ivanitsky. He continued the business of his relative. After the revolution, Ivanitsky left Russia and moved to China. His mine called “Bogomdarovannyy” (now «Kommunar») works even at the present day.
The Ivanitskiy house, designed by an unknown architect more than 150 years ago, almost in the middle of the forest, is unique building for the Republic of Khakassia. The house was built in the style of Tomsk wooden architecture. Nowadays, in the Ivanitsky house there is a children summer camp.
