Kun Tag
Mount Kunya is located from the East of the Podkunenskie mountain ridge. The name in Khakassian means “Sunny Mountain” or “Mountain of the Sun”.
Two ancient petroglyphs are situated at the bottom of the mountain from the Yenisei River’s side. Some images were made in the Scyphian-Siberian zoomorphic style. Historians consider that ancient people could have practiced here some rites connected with the cattle-breeding magic.
Kunya offers a fantastic view on the Yenisei River and the nearest mountain ranges Oglakhty, Sukhanikha and Tepsei. It is beyond any doubts this view attracts the tourists’ attention
