The lake is located in the spurs of the Kuznetsk Alatau. This is a small but very beautiful forest lake. The nature in its surroundings is peculiar. Here you can observe the proximity of the steppe and subtaiga belts. Mountain ranges, narrow gorges, sheer cliffs and ancient burial mounds rise among the expanses of the steppe. On the western side and partly near the eastern shore, the forest comes close to the water.
Where to stay:
On the shores of the lake there are two children's health camps - "Balanul" and "Orlenok", recreation center "Olenye Lake".
What to take along:
Water for cooking and drinking, firewood or coal for a fire, mosquito and midge repellent, warm clothes.
Things to do:
Beach vacation. The shores are sandy, sandy-gravel, and swampy in some areas of the southern bay. The bottom is flat. Fresh water of high quality. On the northern shore of the lake there is a beach equipped with toilets and changing cabins.

Pike, perch, tench and carp are found in the lake.
